Five Things You SHOULD Splurge On

Hello all! I've decided that I need to spend a little more time and effort on my YouTube channel, so I apologize if my original blog content takes a backseat to that. Once I get into a routine I like with my vlogs, I'll be back at it again!
I know what it feels like to go shopping and feel guilty for spending so much money on something that I could've gotten a cheaper version of. But there are certain things that you really shouldn't feel guilty for spending a little extra cash on!
So here are five things  that you should shell out a little more money for...
  • A well made purse
  • Great shoes
  • A good foundation
  • Quality beddings
  • Good headphones
Watch the video to learn more about why it's good to spend more money on these things!

What do you think should be added to the list?

Luxurious Skincare

I love winding down for the night, letting my skin drink in some ultra hydrating, amazing-smelling moisturizer while I drink in some equally quenching and delicious-smelling cocoa cranberry tea.

Your skin is the start of any beauty regime. The better you take care of your skin, the less you'll have to put on it, which again means your skin will be healthier! It's a vicious cycle, I know. For me, skincare is definitely a magical thing. Especially if you have good products that really pamper your skin. I personally use lots of Lush Cosmetics products, which not only feel luxurious, but smell the part too. The more you pamper yourself and put magic into your soul, the more magic you'll be able to pump out. So make the most of your skincare routine by making it as magical as possible. Here are each of the products in my current skin routine.

This works similarly to a cold cream, only it has a thicker consistency. I absolutely LOVE this method of washing my face, because it doesn't require you to dunk water all over your face. Instead, you grab some of the cleanser and rub it all over your dry face. You can even use it to rub off your makeup. Afterwards, you run a washcloth under hot water and use that washcloth to wipe off the cleanser.

I keep my toner in a pump bottle from Sephora. It makes it more convenient and I don't use up my toner as quickly as I used to just pouring it onto the cotton round. I also prefer the large cotton ovals over the smaller cotton rounds. Toner is just a way for me to really ensure I got everything off my face.

By far, this is my absolute favorite moisturizer. It smells like almond milk (aka DELISH) and works great both day and night. It drenches my skin with moisture without being too overbearing and making my skin oily.

I love to take care of and pamper my skin. I secretly worry like crazy about wrinkles and aging, so I started using eye creams at about 18 as a preventative measure. I love the pump style of this eye cream--extremely convenient! As with any product at Lush, it also works like magic.

Between the moisturizer and eye cream, I always wake up very pleased with the condition of my skin. Each of these products are highly recommended.
