Winter Essentials

Winter is nearly over (at least, I hope!) and since I haven't posted in two and a half months I thought I would share my Winter Essentials! I've been concentrating most of my efforts towards my YouTube channel lately but it's time I give some love to my blog.

Everyone loves candles! For some reason though, I only really remember to burn candles during winter time. I love peppermint, chocolate and marshmallow scents during winter. In fact, I sometimes burn these scents outside of winter time!

Bath and Body Works used to sell my all-time favorite candle (a Peppermint Mocha Bark candle) but unfortunately, they discontinued the scent.

Hot Chocolate
Nothing says winter like a good ol' cup of steaming hot chocolate. I've been drinking the Starbucks Classic Hot Cocoa K-Cups, however my all-time favorite is Nesquick stirred into hot milk!

For a holiday twist, I love adding peppermint marshmallows on top! It's an easy way to get a bit of peppermint in your cocoa without having to tweak your recipe much at all. Easy peasy! I tend to be a bit heavy-handed with the marshmallows but what's a cup of cocoa without them?

Arizona is already dry enough as it is. During the winter time, it's essential stay moisturized to avoid dry, uncomfortable or even cracked skin.

My current favorite moisturizer is Boots Expert Sensitive Skin Hydrating Serum. It's lightweight but incredibly hydrating. It's not too heavy or thick either, which I try to avoid in a moisturizer.

For the under-eye area, I use the Enchanted Eye Cream from Lush. My bottle is very well loved and I'll probably need to get a new one soon! It smells great and makes your under eye area soft and smooth. It also comes with a pump, which is always a plus as most eye creams I've had in the past come in little jars.

Chapped lips are the worst! Chapstick is great on-the-go but for at-home use, I keep a miniature tub of Vaseline on my nightstand and smooth some on my lips before bed so that I wake up to soft, smooth lips instead of dry, cracked ones.
